About Me

I have found that capturing emotions of moments is easiest when you’re comfortable with your photographer, so here’s a little about me, and I’ll learn about you before and during our session.

Welcome to Zeus Photography, I’m Jesus (hey-zeus), your photographer! People always found it weird to say “Hey Jesus!” so my nickname quickly became Zeus and has just stuck. Ever since I was young, the ability to capture emotion in a picture has fascinated me, and I strive to provide that same snapshot of emotion for my clients through my photography. As you can tell from my client albums, I shoot for a more natural (minimal editing) candid style to truly capture the emotions of the moment. I utilize some standard poses as well to ensure the most number of usable shots during our shoot.

I joined the Marine Corps in 2014 and am currently a Radio Technician in the reserves. I absolutely despise eating healthy food, but the Marine Corps keeps me in shape, so it evens out. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2019 and currently have a daytime career utilizing my engineering degree. Since I love to do anything outdoorsy, from rock climbing and hiking to sitting on the back deck with good friends and good music, I have stumbled upon the desire to photograph precious moments in time for friends and family.
